PicklyWave

Frequently asked questions

This page is provided in English for legal clarity. Please contact us if you need assistance understanding these policies.

Is PicklyWave free?

Yes. The tool is offered without mandatory registration in its current form. Features may change over time.

Can I save videos for offline viewing?

The Service may allow saving publicly accessible videos when you paste a supported link. You must only save content you own or are authorized to use.

Do you store uploaded videos on your servers?

We generally process links transiently to fetch publicly available resources and do not operate as a long-term video hosting platform for user uploads. Technical logs may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

Is registration required?

Registration is not required for basic use in the current version. This may change in the future.

Are you affiliated with TikTok or other platforms?

No. PicklyWave is independent and not endorsed by TikTok, Meta, Google, or other trademark owners. See our Disclaimer.

Can I download private or login-only content?

No. Private, restricted, or login-required content is not supported.

If I save a TikTok video, does the creator get a notification?

PicklyWave does not notify creators on your behalf. Any in-app activity indicators are controlled by TikTok, not by us. Only save public content you are permitted to use.

Can I use PicklyWave without logging in?

Yes. No PicklyWave account is required for basic use, and supported public TikTok links can be processed without logging in to TikTok inside our tool.

Why doesn't saving work on my iPhone?

Typical causes: the video is private or region-limited, the pasted URL is incomplete, Safari/iOS needs an update, strict content blockers, or network issues. Copy the full URL from TikTok's share menu, confirm the clip is public, and retry with blockers relaxed for this site.

Is HD or high-quality download available?

When the source supports it, PicklyWave may offer HD-style preview and higher-quality save options (sometimes after an optional step). Quality is not identical for every video.

Who is responsible if I misuse downloads?

You are. Users must comply with copyright law and platform terms. See Terms of Service.
